Smart Glasses VS Smart Phones: What Google Glasses Brings to Glasses Market?

Smart Glasses VS Smart Phones
Smart phones are everywhere now, but with the introduction of Google glasses, the smart glass market is soon going to take off. Both Google and Samsung are working on building smart glasses that will either rock the market or fade away completely.
Smart glasses industry is predicted to ship 10 million yearly shipments by 2018 as compared to 87,000 units shipped this year. But as time passes, it will become affordable by the general people. But there are some unresolved privacy issues of Google glasses and it is said that one designer has created a privacy cover for his Google Glass camera. Of course smart glasses will have to do much more than just displaying information. User friendly technology is extremely essential to make smart glasses as successful as smart phones.

Smart glasses will surely capture the attention in coming future but the glasses industry will not be as successful as smart phones are today. This is for the reason that using a smart phone is user- friendly because we just need to use our fingers. Eyes are used of course but trying to manage the smart phone work while keeping the glasses on will be a burden on the face for sure.
